What Windowsill does

Her records, under one roof

Through Carequality and TEFCA, the national networks, Windowsill requests your mom's records and keeps one current history of them. It shows what may be missing, and you can add photos of the papers in her kitchen drawer.

What her doctors found, in plain words

Her visits, test results and reports are retold in plain language, and a summary of her medical history sits on top. Her labs become results you can follow over time, and her medication list carries pharmacy fill dates wherever her records have them.

Answers drawn from her records

Ask what her cardiologist changed in September, and the answer comes from what her doctors wrote. A second check weighs that answer against what's in her file, so you're on firm ground before relying on it.

The same story for the whole family

Bring in a brother, a sister or her doctor, deciding for each one whether they can view her profile or help run it. You can also set reminders for yourself, such as a Sunday note to ask about her refills.

What makes Windowsill different

Not a monitoring service

Windowsill sends no alerts to family, detects no falls and responds to no emergencies. No one is watching her; it helps you understand her health from her records.

More than a folder of papers

A folder of discharge papers holds what someone remembered to keep, and each doctor's portal holds that office's part. Windowsill requests records from many hospitals and clinics and puts them in one history with the papers you add.

Connect your own assistant to Mom's profile

Help manage her profile, and you may link it to your own Claude, ChatGPT or Grok, which reads only what you allow. If she uses one herself, she can connect hers too.

Month to month, with no outside money

Windowsill's 7-day free trial asks for a card, and afterward it's $9 a month until you stop it. Triangle is paid by its members alone, never by a drug maker, laboratory or hospital.

Who uses Windowsill

The team behind Windowsill

Windowsill is the work of Triangle (Triangle Health, Inc.), whose home is Pasadena, California, and it's meant for families trying to understand a parent's health from afar. Arun Verma started Triangle as CEO after a 2023 diagnosis of a brain tumor, joined in founding it by Justin Balthrop and by Jonathan Grubb, whose earlier work was consumer products at OpenTable and Bird. What Arun once had to research by hand, Triangle now offers as a service anyone can use, a son or daughter at the other end of a phone call included.

About Triangle

How Windowsill works

  1. Start a profile for her

Open Triangle's 7-day free trial and mark the profile as one for a parent you look after.

  2. Sit down together for the paperwork

At her table or on a call, work through the identity check, her address, who may see the profile, the consents and the clinician intake visit.

  3. Her records arrive at Windowsill

Triangle sends requests for her records out through Carequality and TEFCA, while you snap photos of the papers in her drawer. After that, the family can read her health topics and medication list and ask what they mean.

  4. Connect an assistant if it helps

Your Claude, ChatGPT or Grok can be added to her profile later if it would help. If her setup snags, Triangle can help at support@trianglehealth.com.

Frequently asked questions

What is Windowsill, and which company makes it for families like ours?

Windowsill keeps a parent's medical records in one place so the family can understand them together. It's a Triangle service, so her profile lives in a Triangle account opened at trianglehealth.com.

What do we pay for Windowsill, and when?

To begin the 7-day free trial, the family member signing up adds a card. From then on, the cost is $9 a month; you may cancel any time, and stopping during the trial means no charge.

Could Windowsill take the place of her doctor?

No. Windowsill's role, as Triangle built it, is research and educational support for the family; it won't diagnose her, treat her or prescribe for her. Her clinicians make the decisions, and Windowsill helps you understand what they found.

Can I connect my own ChatGPT, Claude or Grok to Mom's Windowsill profile?

Yes, if you're on her profile's team. Windowsill's MCP address is https://app.trianglehealth.com/mcp; once you add it, Triangle shows a consent screen where you set what the assistant may see of her file, and trianglehealth.com/agents has a guide for each one.

Will Mom's records be kept safe and private?

Mom's file is protected by encryption at rest and in transit, and the company keeping it, Triangle, is HIPAA compliant. No one buys her data, nothing goes to advertising, and you decide which relatives can open her profile.

If Mom falls or her readings change, will Windowsill tell me?

No. Nothing in Windowsill watches her readings or sends alerts, and it can't detect a fall or call for help. A medical alert service is the right tool for emergencies at home, and Windowsill can sit beside it.

Does Mom have to take part in setting it up?

At the start, yes. Setup asks for an identity check, her address, signatures on the consent forms and a clinician intake visit, which is easiest at her kitchen table or on a call together. After that, you can upload papers she already has.

Can I connect her scale or fitness band?

If she uses a device such as a Withings scale or a Fitbit, you can connect it, and its readings sit next to her records for when you look. Windowsill doesn't watch those readings or alert anyone about them.
